Amesbury Riverwalk

DESCRIPTION

This 1.2 mile paved trail was the first completed section of the Coastal Trails Network, linking the four communities of Amesbury, Salisbury, Newbury and Newburyport along former rail lines.

The Riverwalk connects downtown Amesbury with the Carriagetown Marketplace on Route 110. The trail features historic mill buildings, easy access to museums and galleries, and a pastoral walk along the Powow River.

CONNECTIONS

There are plans to connect the Amesbury Riverwalk to the Salisbury Ghost Trail.
